If you’ve never vacationed in the mountains, you should give it a try one summer. It’s the complete opposite of heading to the beach where it’s usually hot and humid. In the mountains you’ll find, crisp refreshing air at about 50 degrees (F) every night and the water in the lakes and rivers is usually ice melt, so it will range from 35-40 degrees (F).
Mountain cabins come in all shapes and sizes, from places that sleep 12-16 people down do small micro cabins that are cozy for 2 people. Below are some great examples of places you can find to rent. Good luck finding your own personal retreat!
